Homeschool Evaluation

(Florida Empowerment Scholarship- Unique Abilities )

Evaluation Fee: $75

This evaluation includes:

·         Zoom review of your child's curriculum and academic progress

·         Progress analysis with feedback and recommendations

·         Completion and signing of required progress documentation

·         Portfolio review and parent discussion for the annual submission requirement

Important: PEP students have different requirements and must complete approved norm-referenced diagnostic testing.

Formal Norm-Reference Testing

Formal Norm-Referenced Literacy Assessment Available

We offer nationally standardized norm-referenced literacy testing for ages 7–18 to evaluate reading and spelling development.

The Word Identification and Spelling Test (WIST) is used to measure key components of literacy, helping to identify areas of strength as well as potential learning gaps.

Each assessment includes a written report that may support an Individualized Education Program (IEP) request.

Results and next steps are explained by a CALT and/or certified Dyslexia Specialist.

This service can support advocacy for appropriate school-based accommodations and services.

Informal Reading Screenings

Want more information about your child's reading, writing, or spelling?

Our literacy screenings assess reading, writing, and spelling using resources tailored to the student's grade and skill level.

Screeners do not replace a formal assessment or provide a diagnosis, but may indicate a need for further evaluation.

$125 fee includes:

·         45–60 minute one-on-one online assessment

·         Written summary report

·         20-minute online results consultation

Screeners are performed by Certified iReading Tutor
